I Want To Stay Alive

I WANT TO STAY ALIVE is a drama series which shows Iranian society’s condition right after the Iran & Iraq war, the time in which the Committee (a former law enforcement organization in Iran acting under the Ministry of Interior affairs) has the power beyond the law. The plot focuses on Haghi’s family who are an ordinary middle-class family living in Tehran at the time. By pure bad luck they find themselves in the middle of a turmoil when the father of the family is caught by mistake and is going to be executed but a mysterious man shows up and offers help but there is a price to be paid which changes everything upside down for the whole family.
